Right now most of my time goes into building tools that make writing on the web feel less like a chore. I’m interested in the space between a plain text file and a full-blown content management system, where the tooling gets out of the way and lets you focus on the words.
A few things currently on my desk:
- A tiny static site starter that doesn’t need a theme or a tutorial to understand
- A command-line tool for turning a folder of notes into a searchable archive
- Some experiments with variable fonts and fluid typography
- A long-overdue rewrite of my reading list, which has been a mess for years
